Which of the following is a difference between Stored Procedure and Functions?

1. Function can be executed using the “SELECT” clause while Stored Procedure’s can not be.
2. Function can not be used in XML FOR clause but Stored Procedure’s can be used.
3. Function does not return output parameters while Stored Procedure’s return output parameters.
4. If there is an error in Function its stops executing. But in Stored Procedure’s it just ignores the error and moves to the next statement.
5. Function can not make permanent changes to server environments while Stored Procedure’s can change some of the server environment.
